Noosa Moon

Taken from the breakwall at the mouth of the Noosa River. I used an 80mm lens for this one. Normally I would try to shoot with a longer lens, like a 200mm – 300mm to make the moon appear bigger, but I had to settle with a wider angle otherwise it would have cropped too much off the headland.  I wasn’t able to make it to the north shore in time so had to settle with this. I also had to wait for the moon to rise over the hill and by that stage it was quite dark so it was hard to get a balanced exposure.
