Mudjimba Moon

It took me a few goes to get this image.

I had this particular image in my mind for a while but I struggled a bit to make it happen. Overtime I tried previously the weather would work against me… there would either be too much cloud on the horizon or it would be raining. There was a few full moons that were clear but furphies law was that I couldn’t make because of prior commitments.

I had almost given up when I finally got a (mostly) clear afternoon down at Mudjimba… there was actually a bit of smoke in the sky from nearby burn offs but I think in the end that kinda helped to give the image a nice subtle pastel colour.

The bird flying into the frame was all luck!
